After Breakfast we start our day filled with excitement for the Reykjavik City Sightseeing Coach Tour which will take you around Reykjavik world’s most northerly capital.You will visit the city’s main attractions such as the “Pearl”, Hallgrimskirkja Church, the harbor and the famous 101 Reykjavik neighborhood, including the Parliament and the Cathedral. Reykjavik is more than one third of Iceland’s population.We finish this tour around lunch time and drop you near the hotel.Later in the Evening(prior bookings) we will visit the most amazing Geo-thermal natural spa of Blue Lagoon. Enjoy a peaceful evening time at the Blue Lagoon, an incredible geothermal spa, set in an otherworldly area where lava and thermal water meet and complement each other. The Blue Lagoon’s warm water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and unwind while the Blue Lagoon white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin. After having enjoyed the amenities of the Blue Lagoon, your coach will take you back to Reykjavik. The tour is approx. 3-4 hours and about 1,5-2 hours stop in the lagoon. When you visit the Gullfoss waterfall you will see thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down in double falls into a deep canyon.The Geysir geothermal area where bubbling hot springs and geysers are abundant. After breakfast and as per time schedule given we will proceed for the wonderful lifetime experience from Holidays box which is Descending Inside the volcano tour.This Thrihnukagigur volcano lies in the Blafjoll mountains which is just a 30 minutes drive from Reykjavik.Once you reach the Blafjoll Mountains’ cabin, you’ll leave your transportation behind and begin a 40 min easy hike down and witness the lava fields to reach to the opening of the crater. When you reach the basecamp you will divided in smaller groups of 4-5 people. This is the maximum number allowed on the open elevator that will lift you inside the magma chamber of the dormant volcano. The descent is approx 120m/400ft long and takes approx 7-8 minutes each way. Once at the base, you will spend approximately 30 minutes on the ground in the magma chamber.Remember that If you are more than 5 people,don’t worry, you can wait for your turn while enjoying a tasty bowl of traditional Icelandic meat soup, as well as hot coffee/tea/chocolate, offered free of charge at the nearby basecamp close to the crater’s opening.This tour takes about 5-6hrs in all.Return in the evening and Day at leisure to enjoy on own.
